Being away from their families during Christmas can be difficult for kids living in foster care, but CYDC strives to find an array of fun activities to keep them busy and having fun throughout the holiday and winter break.

Providing opportunities for foster kids to experience the season's traditions and local activities can be a source of comfort and help make the holidays a little easier. 

*Please note our occupancy numbers do fluctuate. We have estimated our need for experiences to cover 50 children.  

Give the gift of making a house a home. 

Simple, everyday household goods such as kitchen utensils and bathroom linens are what make the houses at CYDC homes for the kids in residence here. Help us replenish and replace items for the cottages on our campuses. 

*Please note we have asked for 4 of each household item to supply each of our 4 residential cottages. We have 3 on our North Charleston campus and 1 on our Berkeley county campus.
